DELEGATES Lifting & Slinging training courses are aimed at personnel who use Cranes - Slings and other types of Lifting Equipment as part of their everyday duties. Delegates should be reasonable fit, reasonably articulate and be a minimum age of 18 years.

The Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regs 1998 (LOLER)
Inspection of Lifting Equipment - Slings - Shackles - Eyebolts
Slinging Techniques - Types of Slinging - Hitches - Safety Factors
Classroom & Practical Demonstrations and Exercises
Theory & Practical Tests

AIMS &
OBJECTIVES On completion of the course, each delegate will have a working knowledge of relevant legislation and will be fully conversant in the Safe & Proper Use of Lifting Equipment.

CERTIFICATION On Satisfactory completion, each delegate will receive a personal Certificate of Training.

NPORS
REGISTRATION Successful delegates will also be eligible and have the option for registration with the NPORS; I.D. CARD

9.00am - 4.00pm  Lunch 30 mins  Breaks 2 x 15 mins  

NUMBERS: Maximum 6 Delegates per course

(The law has changed - all practical operative training is now Six persons per course/day/test)
